Gifts of Hopelessness

When we talk about hopelessness it generally has something to do with a negative situation or a situation that has no hope.  In reality, sometimes hopelessness is a gift. Contributor Dr. Dan Gottlieb explains how at times when we deal with the reality of hopelessness it actually allows us to move on from a situation sooner than we might have. Sometimes holding on to hope when there is no hope causes more harm then good.

Dr. Dan talks about his car accident that happened over 30 years ago that left him a quadriplegic. Some doctors didn’t have the courage to tell him he would never walk again. Dr. Dan knew there was no hope of him every walking again. Listen and learn how he chose the choice of life or death and the difference between hope and a wish.
