When “ I” becomes “we”
when “they” becomes “us”
when “those” people become “my” people
when the person in the street with a Styrofoam cup becomes my brother or sister
when every hungry child becomes my child
then I will cry more and laugh more and love more
then I will awaken to the world with clear eyes and an open heart and say:
good morning. What can I do for you today?

Very nice
So enjoyed your words of wisdom today at Medford Leas. Especially liked your concluding poem.
Thank you.
All the best,
Carol
I love it. Keep these poems coming!
I enjoy reading an article that can make men and women think.
Also, many thanks for allowing me to comment!
