Over the years there have been hundreds of new therapy techniques with many of them being the gold standard of their time. What they all have in common is a compassionate and safe relationship. Without that, no technique works.
We have all experienced great adversity in our lives. Typically we remember our suffering pretty well. What we may not be aware of is our extraordinary resilience in the face of suffering. Every one of the difficulties we have faced, we have endured and returned to living the lives we have.
